Quilting
The Quilters Group started about two years ago when Zion received word of a quilt raffle to benefit the Fort Wayne Children's Home. We donated two flannel quilts to support this mission. Since that time, we have donated many quilts to Project Linus, the Christmas family (sponsored by our Youth Group), the raffle for Rachel Swinney and Steven Phernetton, and the Pancake Supper quilt.
We meet every Thursday, October - April from 6:30 to 8:30, except for the first Thursday of each month. We welcome anyone who wants to help. Whether you can sew (straight lines, nothing fancy), iron, cut material or like designing and piecing, we could always use your help.

The Women's Guild of the United Church of Christ was first organized on January 26, 1902. Over one hundred years later we are still going strong. Our mission is to spread the Lord's word through service to our church, community, and the world.
We meet for devotion, business, socializing and cake and coffee the last Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. Our doors are open to all. We would love to have you join us anytime.
